On Saturday, 28th May 2022, as part of the activities marking the Communication Week in the Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja, the Communications Commission, in partnership with The Good Shepherd Newspaper, Education Commission, Pontifical Mission Society and CWO Nigeria organized an essay competition for Catholic Secondary Schools in Abuja.
After three levels of judgement by various teams of experts, our noble school, Rex Christus College emerged as the overall winner, clinching the first position trophy. Our students Natasha Michael (JSS 2) and Miracle Erhijiakpor (JSS 1) represented us. The pictures below show the two students and the HOD, English Department, Mr. Karie Alex who led the team that prepared them as they presented the trophy and certificate to the College Administrator, Rev. Fr. Ameh Sylvanus.
